Kiko lives in San Antonio, Texas, with his wife, daughter, son, and two dogs.

Cody Villafana – Managing Editor
Born and raised in San Antonio, Cody Villafana’s earliest movie memory was watching “The Jungle Book” every day when he was a child. As the years passed, his passion for film increased and a young film critic was born. Maybe because he wanted to find out why the air conditioner in “The Brave Little Toaster” always scared him as a kid, Cody earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Texas – San Antonio and earned his master’s in counseling. Now, along with being able to dissect a film and write solid reviews, he can tell Kiko and Jerrod what the hell is wrong with them. Cody is a member of the Houston Film Critics Society.

Jocelyn Durand - Contributing Film Critic
Jocelyn Durand’s movie obsession started when she saw Reservoir Dogs way too young, which explains a lot. She studied RTF at the University of Texas at Austin, became a film critic for the school newspaper, and once met Quentin Tarantino, calling him Mr. Tarantino in a moment she still regrets. She was there for the final screening at the original Drafthouse on Alamo Street, a memory that’s now a core part of her personality. And the greatest moment of her cinematic life? Seeing Seven Samurai for the first time, an experience she describes, without irony, as “life-affirming.” Then, in an unforgivable act of self-betrayal, she became a journalist. The years passed, the movies dwindled, and during the pandemic, she realized she had become a lapsed cinephile. To atone for her sins, she begged to join The CineSnob Podcast. Now, she’s making up for lost time, delivering wildly strong opinions with unshakable confidence and reminding everyone that Seven Samurai is still the greatest movie of all time.

Jerrod Kingery – Contributing Film Critic
Jerrod Kingery is a film critic at large for CineSnob. He co-hosted The CineSnob Podcast for 10 years and still appears on the show from time to time to give his opinions on comic book and sci-fi movies. Jerrod has worked in broadcasting and communications for more than 25 years, spending time in production, newsroom leadership and municipal government. He’s also into comedy, with numerous articles published on satire sites The Hard Times and Hard Drive. Plus, he does stand up comedy too, but he’s still working on that. Originally from San Antonio, Jerrod and his wife now call Austin, Texas home. He, of course, is a San Antonio Spurs fan and enjoys watching them live when they come to Austin—which always scares Kiko.
